This set is meant to be displayed as a decorative piece. It is non-functional, & not intended for frequent use-gluing together is recommended. It is also not intended for children 3 years and under or any individuals who have a tendency to place inedible objects in there mouth. This is not an actual sewing machine. 

Upon our own construction, and because of the style of item to be constructed, we recommend gluing for stable shelf display.  This is not Lego branded.
